


So we proudly use the term “Cake Snob”. Why? We hope when you hear this you think - these cakes must be something really different – something that the staff and owners are setting themselves apart with. We’ve dubbed ourselves “Cake Snobs” because we’ve tried cupcakes and cakes all over the country and we’ve found that ours are truly unique. Each small batch of batter, whether it is for a cake or a cupcake, is extraordinary because it is 100% made from scratch from a recipe developed by the owner and her talented staff. From cups of flour to fresh cracked eggs and butter from a creamery in Wisconsin, every ingredient is hand measured and weighed precisely for the batch it is intended for. Nothing is ever prepared ahead of time or ever put in a freezer. We don’t even own freezers! All day long, batters are mixed with hand mixers and scooped into each liner by our dedicated bakers. Frostings made with real butter are whipped to perfection in batches that will only cover 24 cupcakes at a time. Swirls are piled high by those trained to pipe the perfect ratio of frosting to cake. Ingredients are hand selected by the owner and will only make it into the kitchen if they are fresh, natural and of the highest quality. From Valrhona Chocolates to Nielsen Massey Vanillas, only the best will do. Pure extracts and oils are used to enhance and infuse the cakes with natural and mellow flavors. Preservatives or mixes are never used, which is why our cupcakes require refrigeration to maintain freshness. Enjoying at room temperature is always the recommendation due to the delicate nature of many of the high quality ingredients.
